Technical aids are benefits reimbursed by health insurance funds. Since 1 April 2007, health insurance funds are to establish contract partners via tendering, for example, or to directly conclude time-limited contracts with contract partners if tendering is not convenient. In doing so, the requirements for the quality of medical treatment and devices stipulated in the list of technical aids must be complied with. In principle, the legal basis for the list of technical aids persists.

To be included in the list of technical aids or meet its requirements, many barriers must be overcome. You are expected to provide complete verification that must satisfy all requirements and quality standards of health insurers.
